Slides from our "Perfect storm" webinar, where speakers from Common Good Iowa and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities walked attendees through information on how repeated tax cuts skewed to the rich have opened a structural deficit in our state budget, Iowa's policy of automatically adopting federal tax provision is making our revenue problem worse, and new state spending obligations — notably private-school vouchers and expanded Medicaid and SNAP responsibilities coming down from DC — will further exacerbate our challenges.
