Contact your member of Congress
There are several ways you can connect with your U.S. senators and representative to share your opinion with them. Make your voice heard by calling, emailing or sending a letter.
If you’re not sure which district you live in, look up your representative using this tool. When you communicate with them, be brief and make clear you’re a constituent.
In a survey conducted by the Congressional Management Foundation, congressional staffers highlighted the information Members of Congress want to know from constituents when they contact them:

For electronic communication, members’ offices include include forms on their websites. If you call, call the member’s DC office, where their policy staff are located. Below are phone numbers and websites for each member of Iowa’s delegation.

“Hi, my name is [Name] and I'm a constituent of [Senator/Representative _____ ] from [City]. I'm calling to ask [Senator/Representative _____ ] to [make your ask clear, concise and respectful]."
