Kelli Soyer is responsible for advocacy, research and policy analysis on improving health care systems for all Iowans. Kelli received her B.A. in Psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa. She has spent her career in the non-profit industry, working to create opportunities for the health and well-being for Iowa’s children and families.
Kelli is currently serving her first term on the Des Moines Public School Board. This experience has provided the opportunity to enhance her learning in effective school board governance and focus on student outcomes, including sharing this learning with school board members across the U.S.
She lives in Des Moines with her husband and teenage daughter.
